全球海外台灣人譴責國家暴力與維護台灣民主個人連署 Taiwanese Abroad Denounce State Violence and Defend Taiwan's Democracy Petition

三月23日馬江政府以警政暴力回應台灣人民以非暴力運動反對「海峡両岸服務貿易協議」的黒箱審議，國家暴力發生、民衆流血的當刻，馬江政權的正當性已不在。身在海外各地的我們，有留學生、有出國工作者，有個人，有團體，我們感謝連日來在台灣立法院、行政院與其他各地[才旱]衛台灣民主的同胞，我們心痛台灣民主被國家機器掌控者所践踏，厳[蠣-虫]譴責國家暴力，要求政府當局負起全責。
我們呼[竹/龠頁]

一、 停止使用國家暴力血[月星]鎮圧，停止激化人民，馬江政權對暴力行動負責。
二、 退回現有服貿協議，建立両岸民主協議機制，維護台灣的平等自由。
三、 我們呼應國内公民團體的訴求，要求朝野[之激]集公民社會，共同商討解決眼前的困局，讓台灣的民主再生。

On March 23, 2014, President Ma Ying-jeou responded to Taiwanese citizens' peaceful protest against the Cross-Strait Services Trade Agreement with a violent crackdown. By turning against and attacking its own citizens the Ma administration has lost its remaining legitimacy. Taiwanese abroad everywhere support our fellow citizens occupying the Legislature and Executive Yuan in protest against violations of Taiwan's democracy. We are deeply saddened that Taiwan's hard-earned democracy has been trampled on by its own government and we denounce the use of violence.


1. We demand President Ma to end the violent crackdown, stop provoking the people, and take full responsibility for the administration's use of violence.
2. We support the protesters' demand to nullify the Cross-Strait Services Trade Agreement and allow for full democratic participation in cross-strait negotiations.


3. We support the call by civic groups in Taiwan for the Kuomintang government to work with opposition parties and civic groups to resolve the current standoff in a peaceful manner and restore Taiwan's democracy.
